“Terence lived happily with his sister Tessa at one end of the bath but as there wasn’t much to do, he liked getting up to mischief. Once, he set the world record for dripping and gave Bernard the bath a world-record headache”.
This excerpt from the story sets the scene for Terence’s adventure. It was quite difficult coming up with an adventure for Terence because he’s fixed. Much like Percy in ‘Percy the Peeping Pot Plant’ he couldn’t just uproot (plant… uproot…joke hahaha) and wander off around the bathroom.
No, Terence had to remain fixed. He’s a tap. But it just goes to show, you can have an adventure whatever your situation even if it’s just in your head.
Terrence the Terrible Tap was one of the original books 6 books published in 1980.
