With valentines day approaching, we had an idea for a song, using a secondary spin-off cartoon character from one of our stories. Roger, who was showing signs of NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) in one of the original children book storylines, was a logical choice,. We loved the idea of a narcissist singing a romantic love song all about himself.
Rogers First Appearance
Roger first appeared in our 'Dorothy the Dancing Doughnut Bedtime Story' as a secondary character, where he tried to take advantage of a situation (ending up bruised as a result). Roger then went on to form the BoodleBob band and released a kids song called 'Jump'. Because the band would not change their name to the 'Rogerettes', Roger is now pursuing a solo career.

As part of an experiment to create backlinks on our site from various sources, we entered the initial version of this song #PLIM at some film festivals. Imagine our surprise when we received a few awards!

This is the Alpha release of this song, making our music more accessible to different Spanish speaking countries. The theory was, with the animation scenes all set up within after effects and character animator we should be able to add a new guide track and update the lip sync. It works but there is a problem that has kept this version of the song in Alpha.
For Roger, we had an older male voice in mind. Then we heard our stand in Rogers voice Surya, who delivered quite a different vibe. We don't understand what is being sung about, it doesn't matter, it sounds lovely all the same.

Hidden Camera! Our 'Would be' pop star Roger, has NPD. (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) Roger will walk over anyone for his moment in the spotlight. Roger's behaviour is observed during the recording session for 'That Perfect Love Is Me'.
Roger who has a form of NPD. His one and only saving grace is that he can just about tolerates kids. Whilst talking about his favourite subject. (Himself) He gave a shout out to a couple of channels.

Rogers first appearance in our Dorothy story. And yes, she’s a doughnut. Dorothy loved dancing. She knew the names of all the dances – the waltz, the tango, the foxtrot. She even knew the monster mash and the jive.
Turkey is also a secondary character that does not have his own book. Turkeys voice is stikingly similar to Rogers.
